Arrival is between 17.00 et 18.00
A presentation of the week will be held at 18.00  as we drink our first bowl of vegetable broth.
 

The week ends after the meal on saturday, no later than 14.00.

Hikes
 

It is important to have a physical activity during the fast. The physical activity stimulates the elimination of toxins thru the breathing and thru transpiration.  It also prevents muscle loss.  

 

Being outdoors, hiking and breathing fresh air, strenghens the immune system, it acts on your mood and it stimulates all your senses.

 

Hiking is an activity that is accessible to all ages.  No specific and costly material is necessary, except a good pair of hiking boots.  And if you have hiking poles it be a good idea to bring them.

 

We will be hiking between 10 and 15 km per day at a pace of about 3 to 4 km per hour.

 

Each hike is different with beautiful view points and/or historical points of interest.

 

Activities

 

A session of stretching and auto-massage will be held each morning.

 

The evenings will end with a session of relaxation or meditation.

 

If the group wishes, one session "Clay" will be offered by Jeûne Nature and animated by Geraldine Sirlin.

The Fasting Week.

 

The dietary fasting week is based on the Buchinger formula - water, herbal teas, filtered vegetable broths and diluted fruit and vegetable juices -  with physical activities like hiking and stretching.

Each day will end with a relaxation.

Additional Treatments
 

Massage during the fasting week brings both bodily and mental relaxation.

It also stimulates the detoxification.

 

The fasting week is also a time to question ourselves, our purpose, our needs, our wants.

 It is a time to work on oneself and to pamper ourselves.

 

Two types of treatments for a supplementary fee are being proposed:

  • Massage or energy treatments
  • Bilan naturopathique 
  • Séance Reflexologie 
  • SPA
Accommodations
 

Either in a large cottage with  double bedrooms, or in cabins on pillars, depending on week.

  

Individual rooms are limitéed for a supplemantary fee.

 

A typical day
 
A slow wake up - we take our time -  and we drink our first herbal tea of the day
Stretching/wake-up excercises/Auto-massage
Morning juice - tour de table
Preparation of our backpacks
Hike10-15km (depending of the capacity of the group)
Return to the lodge:  relaxation, reading, naps, complemantary treatments 
Evening Broth with talks about fasting, nutrition etc...
Relaxation 
Discharge

 

The retreats are for adults in good health, capable of hiking 10-15km/day.

The retreats do in not substitute médial treatments.

The retreats are secular.  All belives and religions are welcome.

We will spend a week together with an attitude of caring.

The activities proposed are not manadatory.

Packing list
Attached, please find the list of items you need to pack in your suitcase.
During the fast you will need more heat than normal so pack some warm clothes.
The week will be a rest for your stomach but also for your mind.  Try to leave the laptops and phones behind.  
It is for you own good.
